Donations are a very important source of funds for the Society. All donations go towards the operation of Chapman Creek Hatchery and related activities.
NEW!! We have now begun accepting clean, refundable bottles and cans (tops off please!), drop them off either at the Hatchery, at John Enevoldson Welding & Industrial Supply at 1029A Gibsons Way, or in the gray donation box at the Wilson Creek Shell station located in Wilson Creek Plaza. Know that every 10 cent bottle given equals one more salmon released next year, so your little bit really does make a difference.
We receive donations in many forms. Our members often include a donation with their membership payment, many donations are received by our members when conducting free Hatchery tours, some are left in our Hatchery donation box or in our orange donation cans located around the Coast. Other donations are received gratuitously, or as a result of our solicitations from many businesses, governments and individuals on and off the Coast.
All donations big and small are greatly appreciated. We cannot recognize all of them here but would like to specifically recognize monetary donations of $300 and more in the past year. Donors of both cash and materials/service to the annual Dinner & Auction or other specific projects are recognized on separate site pages.
